Description

Yasuo Abe, who edited these works originally for Piano for Guitar, says about Isaac Albéniz and Enrique Granados, that their works are ‘perfectly representative of the qualities of simplicity and rich emotionality […] of the Spanish spirit’. As well their works ‘resound with the drama and romanticism characteristic of Spain’. Therefore he chose works of these two Spanish composers to expand the Guitarist’s repertoire. Abe mainly chose works ‘suitable for public performances’.
