À propos de Agata Kielar-Dlugosz

Agata Kielar-Dlugosz graduated from the Hochschule for Music and Theater in Munich with a soloist’s diploma and has pursued graduate studies at the Hochschule for Music in Weimar and Yale University. She has won numerous international flute competitions in Uelzen, Padua, Ovada, Timisoara, and Viggiano. She is active as both a soloist and chamber musician, and has premiered many concertos dedicated to her by composers such as Enjott Schneider, Mendi Mengjiqi, Andrzej Panufnik, Paweł Mykietyn, Grazyna Pstrokonska-Nawratil, Piotr Moss, Jerzy Kornowicz, and Pawel Lukaszewski. She has performed with distinguished conductors such as Zubin Mehta, Mariss Jansons, SirColin Davis, Jacek Kaspszyk, Jerzy Maksymiuk, Agnieszka Duczmal, and Helmuth Rilling. She has made numerous radio and CD recordings, and has received scholarships from the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation “Live Music Now”, the Ful bright Commission, DAAD, KAAD, All Flutes Plus, Jeunesses Musicales, Top Wind, and the Zürich Music Foundation. She was honored by the Polish pro vince of Subcarpathia for her outstanding artistic achievements in the service of cultural advancement and preservation. She teaches at the Danzig Academy of Music. She received a PhD in artistic instrumental studies in 2013, and was named a professor in 2019. – www.agatadlugosz.pl
