Johannes S. Sistermanns (b. 1955), composer/performer/sound artist, realizes Sound Performances, New Music Theater, SoundPlastic and MultiMedia CitySpace, radiophonic soundpieces and exhibits Graphic/Sonic notations. He studied from 1976 to 1984 at the Musikhochschule Köln, e. g. New Music Theater with Mauricio Kagel. He took vocal lessons in classical music in North India (B.H.U. Benares/Calcutta) and was taught “The Tao of Voice” method in New York, invented by Prof. Stephen Cheng. Lectures, extended stays with fellowships and performances in Japan, Australia, USA, and Europe. Performances at international Festivals (e. g. Donaueschinger Musiktage 1996 and 1999, Knitting Factory 1995, Melbourne Festival ’97, World Exhibition EXPO 2000 Hannover, Adelaide Art Festival 2000, Theater der Welt Duisburg 2002), radiophonic pieces in radio stations (Studio Akustische Kunst of the WDR Köln, SWR Baden-Baden, HR Frankfurt, SR Saarbrücken, The Listening Room of the ABC Radio Sydney, RBB Berlin, Kunstradio ORF Wien). Grants (e. g.
