After experiencing the spoken-word artist at the Festival of Voices in Lörrach, one critic coined the phrase, “seat-belts only entertainment”. Rinde Eckert’s stage presence differs from the usual cultural business in the same way as a roller coaster is different from leisurely boat ride.
