À propos de Ruth Ziesak
Ruth Ziesak achieved an international reputation almost overnight when she sang Pamina in Mozart’s "The Magic Flute" under Georg Solti at the Salzburg Festival in 1991. It was the starting gun for a worldwide career that today extends to opera, concerts, lieder evenings, and recordings. Since then the multifaceted singer has sung the outstanding roles of her field as a guest on opera stages in Berlin, London, Milan, Munich, New York, Paris, and Vienna. In 2003 Ruth Ziesak debuted in the role of the Countess in "Le nozze di Figaro" in Glyndebourne and Zurich. In great demand as a concert singer, Ruth Ziesak has performed with such renowned conductors as Jun Märkl, Kurt Masur, Herbert Blomstedt, Kent Nagano, and Riccardo Muti and has appeared repeatedly at the Salzburg Festival, the BBC Proms, and at the Lucerne Festival and the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival. Ruth Ziesak studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt am Main under Elsa Cavelti.Produits
