Description
Excavated Dialogues consists of a series of four fragments, each displaying a ruptured form. None of these movements begins or ends; they should rather be seen as a collection of similar dialogues between changing partners (instruments or instrumental groups).
The different dialogues between alternating instruments merge into one another and decompose one another – as though they had been buried in the ground for a long time where they had lost their original separate identities. Chaya Czernowin
